A statement from Place2Be on the UK government’s new mental health and wellbeing plan
Place2Be welcomes the chance to submit evidence to inform the Government’s new 10-year plan to improve mental health.
Based on our experience of delivering mental health services within school communities across the UK over the past 27 years, we understand the vital importance of supporting children and young people’s mental health.
As one in six children now has a diagnosable mental health issue, this support needs to be embedded within communities from an early age, to prevent problems from escalating in adulthood.
