Wembley school visited by BAFTA Kids roadshow with Place2Be
The BAFTA Kids Roadshow in partnership with Place2Be visited Park Lane Primary School on 5 November where children were treated to a TV workshop hosted by CBBC presenters Lauren Layfield (The Playlist, Dengineers) and Ed Petrie (All Over the Place, Dad) to boost students’ confidence and creativity.
Lauren and Ed were joined by guest speakers from the Disney Animation Team.
Beth Parker and Divya Sachdeva have worked on shows such as 101 Dalmatian Street, Sadie Sparks, PJ Masks, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir and the upcoming Chip ‘n’ Dale for Disney+.
BAFTA Kids has been partnering with Place2Be for three years and supports the values of perseverance, integrity, compassion and creativity. Through our school visits with the BAFTA Kids Roadshow we champion children’s creativity, teach important life skills through film, television and games, and provide access to positive and diverse role models.
